What Worked

  • Incredibly cheap profile engagement: $0.06 to $0.08 per profile visit helped us build brand visibility at scale.
  • Link click campaigns: Drove nearly 1,000 site visits with a respectable $0.17 CPC — great for warming up audiences.
  • Clear data to guide retargeting: We now know who’s engaging and where they’re dropping off.

What Didn’t Work

  • High Meta lead costs: Some lead ads reached up to $16.22 per lead — not ideal unless follow-up and conversion workflows are tight.
  • Low conversion on-site visits: People clicked but didn’t take action, signaling we need stronger landing page copy and CTA alignment.
  • Limited remarketing: We didn’t run retargeting ads to re-engage high-intent users (profile visitors, clickers, etc.), which is a missed opportunity.

Lessons Learned

  • Instagram is king for awareness — leverage it first before sending users off-platform.
  • Meta leads are pricey but sometimes worth it — if the onboarding flow is optimized and personal.
  • Don’t skip nurturing — warm audiences via retargeting and email flows before pitching paid sessions.
  • Landing pages need love — more clarity, trust builders (testimonials, guarantees), and urgency.
